All India Shia conference

Registered under Indian society act 1860 in Lucknow is the oldest and most prestigious body of shias in the Indian sub- continent, which was established in the year 1907 by a group of great scholars of country. The splendor of its work was not only in India but all over the world. Among the prominent works of conference are – Newspaper Sarfaraz, Shia College, Shia Sugar Mill, Shia Orphanage, Safi Library, Safi Darul mutalaa, Sarfaraz Press,Anjuman e tahaffuz e aasaar e mutabarrika,seegha e waqf etc.
The said conference performed significant deeds and guided the Shias of the subcontinent in every way, nationally, religiously, economically and socially.
Conference has also done great work for protection of endowments (religious waqfs). The The Department of waqf protection of conference had also formulated waqf’s laws and sample waqf’s deed. The said law was enacted by Government of India and the conference gave complete guidance in this regard.
Their office is of about 8400sq ft is at nadanmahal road lucknow and is a building of society named as “QaumiGhar” or “Sarfaraz Building” under the control of managing committee of the society.
The society is working to save the documents in this place and also collect docs from other places like government offices and some old libraries of nawabeen e oudh where they are treated as waste paper. The physical room measures 675 sqmtr and is presently permitted to be used by the Safi library for this purpose. in safi library the society is working on books, documents and files of conference as well as waqf of India and abroad .
There are about 3000 valuable hand written files ( during th period 1907 to 1980) containing discussions of great leaders of nation on national issues, religious issues, social reforms and economic reforms of community and nation in the form of letters etc.
A lot of discussion on waqf properties which have been illegally occupied or some kind of misappropriation or progress has been made and recorded in the
documents. In all matters, most of the people used to refer to this Shia Conference.
All these documents files contain significant knowledge /Info and must be scanned and extracted
